What are the statistics regarding the use of digiKam among photographers who don’t otherwise use Lightroom? I’m considering doing a series of tutorials on my YT channel and I’m wondering how helpful it would be for the community at large. For me, dK is indispensable for cataloging, exporting, and uploading my files. It seems like I’m always finding a new use for the program. I’m a little surprised that there isn’t more buzz around it, unless I’m just not looking in the right places, of course.

Hard with open source with a lot less data taken. I agree it is surprising that you don’t see much said about it given that it’s such a great piece of software and that most raw converters aren’t great at being a DAM.
