Display profile in DT 3.8.1 with KDE

tumbleweed, kde, dt 3.8.1

I have set the color profile in kde. I get:

$ darktable-cmstest
darktable-cmstest version 3.8.1
this executable was built with colord support enabled
darktable itself was built with colord support enabled

primary CRTC is at CRTC 0
CRTC for screen 0 CRTC 1 has no mode or no output, skipping
CRTC for screen 0 CRTC 2 has no mode or no output, skipping
CRTC for screen 0 CRTC 3 has no mode or no output, skipping

HDMI-1 the X atom and colord returned the same profile
        X atom: _ICC_PROFILE (967180 bytes)
                description: WFHD #1 2021-07-29 12-23 2.2 F-S XYZLUT+MTX
        colord: "/home/froggy/.local/share/icc/WFHD #1 2021-07-29 12-23 2.2 F-S XYZLUT+MTX.icc"
                description: WFHD #1 2021-07-29 12-23 2.2 F-S XYZLUT+MTX

Your system seems to be correctly configured

But in DT, darkroom > right click on gamut and it only shows the standards, srgb, argb, linear…

It doesn’t show my specific profile.

Does this mean that DT defers to kde for the colour management? Or is there some other spot for setting the exact profle?

Thanks

If you create a color\out folder in your config directory and put it there you should be able to access it… I am a windows user but I think this is accurate for Linux

darktable uses colord to get the correct profile. So there is nothing to do here. Do not use your Display profile anywhere else in darktable.
