I was testing out a new EOS R camera at the store today and brought home some sample images. I know DT cannot yet read the .cr3 files natively, so I installed the Adobe converter and converted them using it into DNGs.
The DNGs imported, but I get the black skull and a message saying they aren’t available.
Any advice on what to check or how I can help troubleshoot?
Update:
I tried numerous different settings in the converter. I followed the instructions here:
https://rawpedia.rawtherapee.com/How_to_convert_raw_formats_to_DNG
This was the only way I got the photos to actually load in DT, however, they have an extreme magenta cast that’s proving really difficult to correct.
Are there other DNG converter settings people are using that results in a better file? Or methods for correcting the resultant file?

Update 2
I saw that DigiKam has a RAW to DNG conversion built in, thought I would give that a try. I am thrilled to report that the DNGs created this way import nicely into DT and have a very natural appearance, so I can edit them in a manner seemingly identical to how I currently process my .CR2 files.
