Does GIMP-G'MIC plugin support monitor profile?

Does the G’mic Gimp plugin currently support monitor profiles when passed through Gimp 2.9? If not by default, how can I get the plugin to do so?

@Fotonut via mitch - the plugin preview windows should honor the monitor profile (but that’s it).

Unfortunately, it doesn’t honour the monitor profile on mine, so what can be done from this end?

It turns out it also depends on the preview widget being used. We should find out from @David_Tschumperle which method he’s using to create that preview first.
