dt 4 -- color glossary feature? [solved]

Hi all,

I am working my way through all interesting possibilities in dt 4.x…
The release notes describe a color glossary. However, that feature
refuses to show up on my machine :frowning:

I wonder whether I am missing a certain dependency, or have overlooked a box to tick, or …

Do you have this feature on your machine?
If so: how the **** did you make it work?

(I am on Linux and compile dt from github.)

Wonderingly Yours,

Perhaps you could tell us what you tried. You should enable the global colour picker, pick a colour in the image, and then hover over the numbers that appear in the global colour picker module:

Aha!
So it is hover over the numbers that triggers it.
Thank you very much!

I haven’t been through the new features but just tried the above.
It looks like the popup info needs positioning to ensure it’s all in the window. Nice and clear though.

@RawConvert Just close your History

AFAIK we don’t have any control over where popups appear. This is controlled by Gtk. Generally I find if you move your mouse away and hover again it often fixes itself.
