I have been getting error messages on several images
“detail mask cl blending problem” and “detail mask blending error”. In some instances both messages are seen on the same image.
All the images are from Fuji RAW data and the problems are seen with both the latest releases as well as with prior versions. This does not occur on all images but I really do not see a pattern.
I am running Manjaro/Arch/XFCE with the daily git release.
Is anybody else seeing the same messages?
Hi, the “cl blending problem” message results from an error in the processing pipeline if there was not enough graphics memory processing the detail mask. I am not sure right now if this is a dt problem resulting from ignoring the mem requirement for masks at this stage or if you did some “bad tuning” of OpenCl.
Could you try to set “darktable resources” to “default” and “tune OpenCL performance” to “nothing”
I will look into this further myself but please concider to open an issue at darktable github if messages persist after changing above settings.
Just to let you know, I found the underlying bug and a fixing pr has been pushed to github.
