Hello,
in the file manager view I used to have the film strip on the bottom of the screen. (New dt 3.2 on Windows10)
Now it has changed to time line. Nice idea and sure I might some time use this feature - but I want my film strip back.
I must have hit the wrong key but I can’t get it back by hitting any key - I tried them all.
In the settings I reviewed all the shortcuts and could only find ctrl+f, but this now toggles the time line and not the film strip.
darktable 3.0 | darktable suggests that the time line were always displayed in file manager view and the film strip in darkroom view. But till just now the film strip was visible in file manager view.
Any idea what I messed up?
Regards
Joachim
Too my knowledge this is the way it is and has been:
- lighttable → shows the timeline. When using file manager or zoom-able mode,
- lighttable → shows the filmstrip. When using culling mode,
- darkroom → shows the filmstrip
I just had a look at some of the earlier darktable versions (3.02 and 3.0.0) and this confirms the above.

Hm, well, then I must have been mistaken! Thanks for the clarification.
I might file a feature request.
