I would like to edit files that have been stacked and saved as dng files.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I definitely edit DNG files in DT. I also recommend using Adobe’s DNG converter as a temporary fix if you find an unsupported RAW file or camera in darktable or any editing program.
