Edit preferences without starting RT?

Using the Batch Processing tab in Preferences I chose to change all options to ‘Set’ mode from the default ‘Add’ mode. The result was that my RT session closed and attempts to run RT now fire it up only for a second before it closes again. I’ll be writing a bug report about that, but in the meantime, is there an external preferences file I can edit by hand to restore RT to use? I’m running a 64-bit version on Ubuntu, and can’t find any likely files in the usual places.

Thanks.
Terry

Thanks, paperdigits. Deleting the PP3 files from my last active directory brought RT back to its senses.

Deleting files does nothing to getting the problem identified and fixed for your benefit and that of other users :unamused:

Which version is that?

FWIW, the version that produced this problem was 4.2.872, but immediately after getting RT working again I upgraded to 4.2.997. I’ve tried replicating the issue in the new version, but RT has no complaints when I click the ‘All to Add’ or ‘All to Set’ buttons.
