Unlike RT that bypasses ACR and goes directly to PS, Art goes to ACR with settings from previous edit done through Adobe.

The behaviour is something you can configure in acr. Did you try that? Sorry but I don’t have Photoshop so there’s not much more I can do…

That helped. .I can open tif files in ACR which I never need to do. However, I would need to disable tif support in ACR in order for the external editor in ART to work. It works fine now.
