Thanks for sharing. An interesting image to play with. In GIMP I have tried to bring out a little more detail in the darkest parts. To emphasise the reflection in the water I darkened and increased the contrast in this zone. However, this made the sea and sky excessively blue so I had to reduce the blue content. I have probably greatly overcooked this photo!

With shots like this I usually use daylight white balance to reproduce the colors that color slide film would have produced. I also like the colors in this shot. The contrast of the warm lights and the blue light after the sun has gone down.

A nice shot, this photo is quite interesting. I don’t think there’s something I’d want to correct or to change to the original one. Nevertheless, just a couple of settings, only for practice exercise.
