Hi , if not in right section please remove.
Only been using darktable for a week and all was working well when i
tethered my Fuji XT2 then when i tried to tether the other day i got the
attached screen shot and also i did a darktable cltest which is also
attached , any idea what i have did wrong for it to crash like this ,
each time i try to tether it pops up with the message and when i click
ok the program shuts down.

You might need USB drivers for gphoto on windows.

Do you have other USB devices plugged in, like your phone? Have you read the FAQ about windows tethering?
Hi ,
i have a usb hard drive plugged in , but everything was working it just crashed with the error message one day when i clicked on tether. Will try without the usb hard drive in.

That is for macOS/Mac OS X, not Windows. Please read carefully!
It seems that darktable crashed. And that txt file is just a log with debugging informations to try to find the cause of the crash.
Yes and each time i press tether it crashes , think one of my drivers must be corrupted as my webcam also wont work now
So you used zadig to replace the USB driver?
