I am trying to export 1500 RAW files for a time lapse. I am on a MacBook with an i7 CPU.
One thing I have noticed that export is very slow. From previous posts it seems this is a known issue.
I am also noticing that the CPU utilization in Activity Monitor goes up and down with a lot of pauses so it seems the CPU is not really used. The device also goes to sleep after a while and the export pauses completely.
Is this expected behavior? It may be good to keep the device awake during export in the same way video players (i know there is system call in Windows for that. I assume there is one for Mac too)
