export resolution on queue

I don’t usually send images to print, but with my last job I felt the need to get files suitable for printing.I then noticed that the option to set the DPI of the resulting image in the queue section is missing.

And above all I noticed that when editing a png image with a depth of 300dpi, the image saved from the queue can have a resolution of only 96dp (even keeping the image dimensions in pixels).

This gave me a ‘nasty surprise’ when it came time to send the images to print.
so I would suggest adding an option to the queue setting to force a minimum resolution, or pixel depth, for the output

The DPI ‘resolution’ is just a piece of metadata, it does not influence the actual resolution (measured in pixels), which determines the amount of information in the image.

I think you can set it in the metadata editor:
