Exported images automatically debayered?

I have tried to ask all the AI tools out there, but I have come to the conclusion that they are all just really dumb!

Due to drifting clouds, I usually end up with a lot of junk files. I just want to save the good frames for later integration and free up my drive.

Is there a way to sort the images using the Plot tab, and still it save the images as raw files when using the “Export Sequence”?

Whenever I click register, it will automatically debayer the saved images (even though nothing is checked!), preventing me from using drizzle later on.

AI told me to go back to the sequence tab after sorting the images, and choose the original sequence. But this re-selects all the images again (because it hasn’t been registered yet!).

It also spat out a command line I could use, but that doesn’t work either.

seqcopy [your_current_sequence_name] filtered_raw -selected

There has to be an easy way to do this, right, that does not involve me having to manually sort through each image?

Thanks!

Hey,

worth having a read through the docs: Registration — Siril 1.4.4 documentation
Using a 2 pass registration won’t export the images, just detect the stars and compute the registration info: Registration — Siril 1.4.4 documentation.

One warning though: With registration info present, the export function will try to apply this registration before exporting. But you can clean the registration info from the sequence once you’ve done your selection but before exporting (you will need to keep the selection info though), see there: Sequences — Siril 1.4.4 documentation
