I really like how this forum looks and works!
I was a bit confused after posting this how to return to the forum main page.
When I click the PIXLS.US header it takes me there though the header suggests I would go to the main site, not the forum. Room for improvement.
Yes, I am not 100% sure on the best way to approach this.
One idea is to change the header image to something different:
But I wasn’t a big fan of that particular image. I’m open to sugestions of course.
To be fair, it is a different header image when you scroll down through a post a bit…
Also, this particular forum software is pretty sweet. I know I’m a fan.
Speaking of liking how this forum works, the onebox feature is pretty neat. Simply put a link on a line by itself, and the editor will attempt to fetch a snippet of the link to display. I just noticed that it works very nicely for Flickr links:
Neat!
Well, after @Morgan_Hardwood broke the RSS importer, I went ahead and fixed it. Should be looking better now?
Pat! This comment typing RTE box chops off the top line when i use it from google chrome on android so i cant see the first line of what im typing. Im sure i broke it too. Can you fix it?
What is an “RTE” box?
Is this still an issue? I haven’t had a chance to investigate yet…
Yeah
It seems to be caused by the edit box not being wide enough on your system. the buttons on my system are all on one line and the text box is fully visible. As a work around can you make the browser window wider? So the icons are not on two lines.
There could be a programming solution as well but that is beyond my ability to do.
Ah! In this case, if you are unable to resize the left side input, the best option may be to use the “hide preview” link to hide the preview. This should resize your left side input editor so that the first line is visible.
Well the purpose of reporting this was to fix the bug, not to find workarounds nobody else will know about. And the bug is that the wrapping toolbar does not push the input box down but covers it.
Oh, absolutely. I will have a look at this and push it to the discourse devs to look at as a bug. I believe the bug is that you shouldn’t be seeing the preview box at all on that size screen resolution (it’s hidden on all of my devices that are near that screen size.
Which device did you say this was? Samsung Tab of some sort?
I only offered a possible temporary work-around for the moment so you could continue to use the site at least .
that might be the fix already
Indeed, I had reported this as a bug, and had this thread of resolution:

It’s basically a detection issue for being on a mobile browser.
