While in lighttable, in spite of selecting all or multiple files, only one (1) file gets removed from the library. Earlier all selected files were getting removed. Any clues to this ?
TIA

You best share your operating system and which version of DT you are running. It is certainly working fine for me on Windows 11 with DT 4.6.
Try this: first select some images.
Then move your mousepointer away from any image, it must NOT hover over an image, not even over one of the just selected images.
Now delete the selected images via keyboard or mouseclick.
Always using the menu with the mouse circumvents this particular feature of darktable (sorry, forgot the name of it)
Windows 10, DT 4.6. The problem was noticed sometime back.
Tried, no effect. It stubbornly removes or deletes just one file irrespective of selection.
Did you use a keypress (hotkey, by default Del), or did you click the button?
Darktable has this feature, often criticised for confusing users, that mouse hover + hotkey takes precedence over selection. By clicking the buttons (and thereby preventing the mouse hover), this can by avoided.
If the problem is present even when clicking the Remove or Delete button, please open an issue on GitHub, if there isn’t one already, preferably attaching a screencast.
Thanks for responding. I normally use mouse for selection/button press/scroll. Have been doing so for quite some time. (Started using ver 3.8 when support for .CR3 file was introduced.) Will try/open issue on the github.
