FilmicRGB - how to avoid pink soroundings around sun

On the left side is image when works Sigmoid.

On the right side are the same settings but here works FilmicRGB.
I would like to change the pink border around the sun to yellow.
What I have to do (but without masking) ?

I was trying to change Color Science in Filmic, 4 ways tab in ColorBalanceRGB, ColorEqualizer, but nothing helps.

Thank You.

Try Filmic v5 or v6, with preserve chrominance set to “no”.

I was actually planning on posting a sunset as a Play Raw, since it’s been a while since we last had one

When you use Sigmoid, dial down the ‘preserve hue’, it will also help. I don’t recommend going all the way 0%, usually between 40 and 80% is enough for me.

Thank You.

Imagine I tried V5 before but got BW image.

I didn’t realize that FilmicRGB / Look / mid-tones saturation was set to -40.

Thanks again.

Thanks.
I know how to achieve this shift in Sigmoid.
But I was curious how to achieve similar effect in FilmicRGB.
Just exercise my brain against Alzcheimer (or something similar) disese in the future.

My default tonemapper is Sigmoid but in v4.9 appears camera styles with FilmicRGB as tone mapper.

You’d need to move the instance after filmic in the pipe, or use another module like color zones that is already after filmic in the pipe.

Something similar happened to me a while ago. That slider changes purpose when you switch color science.

Just with filmic (v5 my preferred version)…you could let this be more specular in the sun if you wanted…

Here is my version with filmic V5. I used WB as shot and didn’t play with the color balance rgb module which you often needed to be used in conjunction with filmic. For me Sigmoid is my go to for sunsets, but you did ask about filmic. I did not try to match your sigmoid.
