Hi, This is my first trial using Siril to pre-process 50 Lights, 10 Darks, 10 Biases, and 10 Flats. The script ran to a halt and failed at registration. This is the screenshot of the last part of the error message:
I checked the “Process” folder and found all 50 Lights were pre-processed, but only the first Light was registered. All the rest 49 Lights were missing (not registered)…
How do I cure this registration issue? Appreciate your help.
As you may notice in the logs, siril fails to detect many stars.
So you need to analyze your calibrated images to understand. See if the calibration was good.
Then, if the calibration step was good, update the star detection parameters.
Hi lock042, Thanks for your reply. Since this is the first time using Siril, although I have studied tutorials a bit I did not find any user manual/guide, so I can barely understand what you said: “calibrated images” and “star detection parameters”. Completely in the woods of how to analyze calibrated images and change star detection parameters! So would you kindly direct me to the place that I can study and learn these work tools for using Siril? Appreciate your help.
Sorry, I just found the Manual document from Siril’s site. I will do some study to catch up using Siril effectively.
