Fits format option when saving

Hi there,
I Siril I like the compressed FITS file format to save disk space, especially when processing a lot of image files. However, some image processor apps like Graxpert do not accept compressed FITS files, so I have to change it in the settings.
It would be great if Siril’s “Save as” dialog provides the option to check or uncheck the compressed FITS file format or to implement the same FITS options as in the settings.

Hello and welcome.

What if you asked to GraXpert to read compressed files? I’m sure users would appreciate it.

On my side I’m not a big fan to add a duplicated option in the save dialog.

There are other programs such as Fitswork, but unfortunately it is no longer being developed.

It would be helpful to be able to switch off compression in the “Save as” dialog.
