I uploaded the stringify mod on git 2 days ago but it had not appeared in my gmic_qt yet when i update the filters. Did i do something wrong?
No. I’ve disabled the filter update temporary because I’m rewriting a lot of the nn_lib stuff, and currently, the few filters that use neural networks are broken.
I’ll re-enable the updates when this is fixed.
Oh I didn’t know this. Thanks for the info ![]()
Hurray! Random oneliner! Haven’t learned much by doing nothing for 6 months ![]()
gmic 1000,1000,1,4 repeat 50 circle $\>%,$\>%,\{lerp\(0,10,$\<\)\},1,0xFFFFFFFF,$\> w done dilate 8 +mirror y rv a y n 0,255 autocrop repeat 1 . mirror. x rv a x done d
EDIT: forgot to remove that final repeat… oh well.
These ones look nice but pipelines look overkill (note that it’s just random gmic typing ):
gmic 1000,1000,1,4 repeat w/2 circle $\>,\{sin\(\$\>\)\},$\>,1,0xFFFFFFFF,$\> done dilate 5 +mirror y rv a y n 0,255 autocrop
gmic 2000,2000,1,4 repeat w/2 circle $\>,\{sin\(\$\>\)\}%,$\>,1,0xFFFFFFFF,\{$\>+100\} if $\>%15==0 rotate 90 w fi done repeat 20 dilate 1.5 w done +mirror y rv a y n 0,255 autocrop +mirror x a x d
Will there be colors?
Sure, if you put ${-rgb} in the right place. (Are you saying you want this in gmic_qt?)
But i prefer B&W.
It’s actually awesome with colors ![]()
Arc Kaleidoscope. You’re using Ellipses. You could also go with Subcurve Kaleidoscope.
Sounds more complicated than it really is…
Why Arc though? It’s not necessary always ellipses. In the screenshot i used a ratio of 1, so it’s only circles.
