Fuzzy targeting of color

I have been wondering how I could do what IM's -fuzz does using G’MIC: ImageMagick - Command-line Options. It would be a handy ability to have because it has many applications.

This looks like a ‘global’ option. In which kind of commands would you need to have such an ability ?
I’d be more keen to add a ‘fuzzy’ parameter for these commands instead of having a ‘global’ variable that sets this for many commands.
