GIMP 2.10-std (OSX) - Partha's version - Export as .jpg crashing program

When exporting a image to .jpg or .png GIMP program crashes, there is no crash report or reopening does not show as crash or a attempt to restore from the crash.

Can you send me the logfile? Here are the steps:

  1. Open Terminal app
  2. Carefully type the following:
    cp /tmp/runMcGimp-2.10-std* ~/
    (I put in extra spaces just in case they don’t show clearly in this email)
  3. Using Finder, please locate the file runMcGimp-2.10-std-(long series of numbers).log in your Home folder. Please send me this file. Use the email address on my website.

@partha I can confirm that updating to High Sierra this resolved the issue, running 8 threads.

Glad I could help.

For anyone using my Mac builds on an OS older than Sierra, please note that multithreading is still experimental and does not work on it. Please set the number of threads to 1 in your preferences.
