There are alternatives that are open source and do not cost.
The batcher python plugin has a layers → rename option. Plenty documentation that comes with the plugin.

I made it as pay wat you want… if you select 0 it should be free

I remember when pclinuxos used gumtree for donations and not a great success.

Just curious, what sort of things are people doing where they have 200+ layers?
Im not sure… i saw people asking for layer renaming features… so thought it may be usefull… but i usually dont use so many layers atleast not for social media posts 
Very often for an animation where a layer name determines the format
such as some-name&number(200ms)(replace) and you need to change the timing or swap replace with combine
