Have to admit, I was concerned. Did a Is Site Down Right Now search and found the website and it said site was down for everyone. Hope that it was just a planned update and nothing nefarious

We’ve been moving to salt, a missed a permission that made the SSL dir unreable, so haproxy refused to start.

Oh that explains the strange errors I was getting, thanks for heads up.
It amazes me that even with pros like you guys linux problems are always somehow permissions-related - makes me feel less small 
.

Well I even made a matrix account just to ask someone and not feel lonely 
Turns out the element X client takes forever to load after joining the servers for some reason…
By the time I saw a single message we were already back up again!
Hopefully my first message there next time won’t be “are we down guys?”
I notice the darktable.org site was down at the same time. Does it share the same infrastructure?
Yes. Darktable, siril, and a few others.
