G'MIC 3.6.3 for Gimp 3.0 on Windows 11

Hello,

first I have to thank David Tschumperlé for linking me to this forum.

I didn’t found a topic discussing G’MIC 3.6.3 with Gimp 3.0 under Windows 11 64bit.

Problem: version 3.6.3 can’t be installed successful at my system. GIMP 3.06 does not show it under the filter menue.

This is my Windows Version:

No replies ? Always difficult to diagnose an installation in Windows. Does work for me Win 11 (VM) Gimp 3.0.6 / gimp_gmic_qt 3.6.3

Just the obvious.
Are you using the latest Gimp 3.0.6-1 installer ?
The gmic installer is very good, it does find the appropriate plug-ins folder. Did you use the defaults. Have a look in the plug-ins folder and check the folder.
Not shown but also check in Edit → Preferences → Folders → Plug-ins and check that the path is correct.

Of course it might be something more fundamental, regional settings etc.
