Oh, and one of the shops said they would print on a Carolina Cover 10 pts C2C… I’m drifting off-topic here, but here are the papers I’ve considered so far:
- HP laser couleur pour dépliants: 30$/150 sheets (20¢/sheet), 150gsm / 40 lbs, brightness 97
- Staples pour brochures / circulaires: 38$/150 sheets (25¢/sheet), 48lbs (120gsm ou 170gsm?)
- Verso - Papier laser Sterling: 153$/3000 sheets (5¢/sheet, 118gsm, 16mil, brightness 94
- Carolina Cover 10 pts C2C
- Xerox Bold Super Gloss Cover 12 pts 3R11686, 247gsm C1S
- Xerox Bold Coated Gloss 3R11462 111$/100lbs, 1500 sheets, 7¢/sheet, unclear if C1S or C2S
Ideally, I’d just find a ~210 or 240gsm, C2C (or C2S? who knows!) that would feed in one of the printers I have access to and just do this cheaply. Those are the printers:
- Xerox C8045 (beaux bleux, un peu smudgy sur certaines poses)
- Canon image RUNNER ADVANCE C5550i
… but yeah, maybe I should move this to another thread.
