Any way to see the histogram for files once selected in the browser?

I would find this useful too. Sometimes for non critical job, I would like to adjust brightness/contrast without opening the file, but I miss the histogram.

just wanted to ask again, if this would be possible?
It would really help a lot selecting images.

This isn’t exactly what you asked for, but it might get the outcome that you want…

  • Open the folder containing the photos you want to work with in Geeqie
  • Activate the info sidebar and/or the histogram overlay
  • If you want to edit the photo, right click the photo and select your editor (RawTherapee in this case).
