Histogram(s) of cropped image?

Is there any way to get RT to display the histogram of the crop rather than of the original image?
Ideally I would like to be able to do this on the first tone curve (in the exposure tab) and also on the main histogram in the top left, but either would be useful.
If it’s not currently possible would it be worth putting in as a feature request issue, or is it fundamentally impractical?

In current version RT displays the histogram of the crop in the main histogram panel.
Which version are you using?

Oops – I’d not looked closely enough at the main histogram. I was looking mainly at the tone curve while trying to get the levels right in this image:

which is a considerable crop with a lot of background similar to what is shown. In the tone curve the bird only shows up as a very small peak.
