Horse and Egret

Hello! I bring you these two raws of a funny scene I captured yesterday. I knew these egrets liked to stay on top of cattle and horses, but this was the first time I saw one, found it quite funny

Unfortunately I had just been shooting a stork that was flying by and forgot to change settings… Beginners mistake  Could’ve used a much lower iso and shutter speed in the second one, but in the end it still looks okay unless zoomed in a lot.

I quite like the composition of the horse looking through the branches, but didn’t get it quite right unfortunately, was limited by where I was standing and the subject’s placement.

What fun! We have a lot to learn from our animal friends. For one, we need to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Wholeheartedly agree, no doubt in that.

Really interesting dark mood on this one, specially with the contrasting face and egret.
