In our garden there is an old sand pit in which a small “forest” of Horsetails grow in spring. In the evening sun they are beautifully lit so I set out with the 90 mm macro for some forest photography.
I already posted this photo before. When I first opened it in darktable, both AgX and Sigmoid were erroneously being applied and made for some very lush contrast.
I brightened the flowers in this shot by using an instance of tone curve after AgX and then the details threshold slider to mask for the in focus flowers while avoiding the out of focus background. 260419_190326_DSC00070.ARW.xmp (11.0 KB)
