Every time I try to create a new layer in GIMP, a dialog box with several options appears, but I would like to create a new transparent layer directly and immediately. How can I do that? Can anyone help me? Thank you all.

Don’t know if there is a shortcut for this, but there is a setting in the “default dialog values” tab (or whatever it is named in english) that let you choose some default settings :
Then i just drag my base layer to the new layer icon in the layers palette to create an empty layer:
By default, if you did not change the settings, it creates a white layer, so you can just press “del” to make it transparent.
Does anyone know a shortcut for this?
PS: if you select more than one layer it will create layers in between each selected… layer:

Here, this is where you set the shortcut to bypass the new layer dialog.
Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts . Type new or layer and it should appear:
