Only do that when you need it and when you know what you are doing.
I’ve never felt the need to change the pixelpipe order of the modules (then again, I don’t use LUTs)
For the rest of your post: what you describe fits with styles, something you asked about in other threads.
If those don’t fit your needs, why not?
