Todd, Bill: Kudos to you for your patience and help.
I believe your advice, screenshots helped me resolve this issue.
Attached screenshots of:
a) the modules I added and their sequencing in the pixelpipe, all in darkroom;
b) the history stack following (a). I believe using the “Create Style” from the history stack proved to be fortuitous.
c) the “New Style” I created with the relevant modules.
d) A new image I brought up.
e) Applying the new style “My Workflow” to the new image. It produces the sequence of modules in the same order as in steps (a, b). And, those modules I wanted off are off, others on. That’s exactly what I wanted!
I’m now good to go. Thank you, to all who responded, for your help!
As to why this was difficult for me earlier when I now see it to be straight and simple: I believe I resorted to options that I should have disregarded. E.g., I compressed the history stack before creating a style via darkroom LHS panel; in LR I excluded or checked negative on modules instead of selecting them as I did in the step (c) above.
