How to import CR3 raws into darktable

Sorry if this is a numpty question…
I’m on ubuntu 20.04
Perhaps I’ve never used a CR3 before, anyway it doesn’t load into Master.
I find somewhere saying you need at least exiv2 version 0.27.4
I have exiv2/focal-updates,focal-security 0.27.2-8ubuntu2.7 amd64
according to “apt list exiv2”
So I do
sudo apt-get install exiv2
it calls it a “NEW package”, then installs this -
…
Preparing to unpack .../exiv2_0.27.2-8ubuntu2.7_amd64.deb ...
which seems much the same as I already had.

Where do I get 0.27.4 please?, or how to proceed so CR3 will work next time I build Master?

Man please search the forum or read the release notes. This has been covered so so so many times. This is why we have a search function.
