How to manage multiple sidecar files

I’m new to darktable, coming from LR after a 1000% price increase from Adobe (i used to pay €19/y as academic, now €199)

Learning from the play raw topics: how do you manage different downloaded sidecar files for one raw so that they appear as individual virtual copies in a catalog?

You can duplicate the image both on the lighttable and in the darkroom. You can then load sidecar files from the lighttable.

Welcome to DT. It has a steep learning curve but it is so much more creative than LR. And the price is right.
