Yesterday i opened issue on Gitlab and Massimo Valentini has found the cause and the solution. Maybe you can take a look at it.

Wow!!! Excellent! That’s exactly why I think the appimages can help the projects debug the bleeding-edge code.

I have updated the AppImage package with the BABL/GEGL git HEAD versions, could you please check if that solves the issue?
