I'm going to attempt add gmic as a syntax highlighting option for KDE Kate

This is a follow-up to this thread - For all of you that use Kate editor to code G'MIC scripts, what highlighting set up do you use?

Right now, I found out that g’mic syntax highlighting is at least related to bash, but it’s not the same. There’s a xml file within one of the KDE project - data/syntax/bash.xml · master · Frameworks / Syntax Highlighting Engine · GitLab

By forking bash.xml, and then modify it to suit gmic language, I may be able to have a successful gmic highlighting for KDE Kate.

All I need is a GUI for a xml editor, I don’t want to mess with it at the text level unless it is for finalization.

I’d love to have this for emacs as well
