Image Preselection

Hi,

I would like to know how wipe the bad Images from my disk before I start the script.

Siril needs a lot of disk space. Before I start the script, I register the images to see what percentage I should use in the script.
The problem is that the bad image will be converted, preprocessed in the script anyway.

any ideas?

regards,
Martin

Hi and welcome!
You can manually look at the raw image and remove them if you know there’s a cloud pass for example for tens of images, that way they won’t be processed.
If your selection is done from registration data, you’d have to calibrate the images and register them to know if they are good… You could do a quicker registration that does not create files by selecting the translation only option, filtering the images you don’t want using the plots or sequence list, then possibly redoing the registration with rotation on the kept images and stacking with all or another filter.
