I have just installed GIMP 3.2.4
Windows system
My system: Windows 11 Home 25H2
The Create menu only has 3 submenus: “From Clipboard / Screenshot / Scanner-Device”
Submenus such as Logo and others are missing
It resembles the Linux configuration described in the GIMP documentation
How can I get the full submenus of the CREATE menu?
Hi! It’s likely that those other menus were plug-ins you downloaded at some point. You’d need either find and install GIMP 3 compatible plug-ins, or check if that functionality is now part of GIMP itself.
All those Create Menu Items come from older versions of Gimp. Lots in Gimp 2.8, Many removed in Gimp 2.10 as being out-of-date. They were mostly script-fu and because of syntax changes none of the old script fu (also python) work with Gimp 3.2 As an example:

Might be of interest, most of those old scripts were for some sort of text effect. There is a collection of script-fu re-written for Gimp 3
