Not currently. We used to allow it during demosaicing and only for bin2, so for colour sensors, we had to remove it in recent versions to integrate librtprocess demosaicing, but I plan to reintroduce it soon (it’s the super-pixel demosaicing).

However, I’m not sure we can call it bin2.
For me, the software binning is not really binning. The binning must be done during capture, and with a mono camera.

Indeed.
For a CMOS camera, would there be a difference between doing it on the camera and after capture? I think it’s the same result

Yes I meant super pixel demosaicing - Bin2 is not really the right term I think.
