issue with pixel maximum stacking

Hello .
I’m using SIRIL 1.4.0-beta3 (french version) running on a laptop under FEDORA 42.

I’ve got an issue with pixel maximum method stacking.
this is the log

It seems you have a memory issue.

Maybe you should try updating your memory settings in Siril preferences first.

I don’t think so because I tried differents setting about memory ans it didn’t solve.
I suppose there’s a software malfunction . I saw that the same bug was reported on git-lab List of other Bugs

The bug was already reported by Adrian Knagg-Baugh …

I do not use much this functionnality but it’s always funny to get star-trails on wide picture especially to get fireballs and artificial satellites activity.

Same problem. On my old Lenovo B5400 laptop, the “Maximum” stacking setting only works well with version 1.2.5. On my more powerful Asus TUF laptop, it works with version 1.4.0-beta.
