Hi! Thanks! It’s not open source, but it’s currently still free: you can download it and play with it. Eventually I’ll offer licenses, but this development versions are free to play around with.
Thanks, @SCHA. This is an excellent sample to try out the new red-green-blue tools in Colour Appearance and Lighting and a few others. Really wanted to pop the snowdrops and dampen the browns.
Sadly not being FOSS doesn’t really follow what we’re trying to achieve here on this forum. While its nice that you’re implementing and exploring raw processing, we focus on Free Software to make it accessible to anyone who wants to follow along. Closed source software, even if it is without cost, impedes our curiosity and degrades the community at large.
When I dimmed and desaturated the dead grasses I selectively dimmed and desaturated the reds using a global tool (Colour Appearance & Lighting). Since the flower tips were light gray/white in the original, taking away the reds changed the tips far too much. I’m not sure how else I could selectively alter the reds while keeping the whites vibrant. Thanks for the question, though; it’s got me looking into this further.
Edit: Here’s another attempt. This time, I took my own advice and left the reds alone in Colour Appearance & L (CAL) and added a CAM16 spot to isolate the browns and dim/desat that way. Seems to have worked out better.
