This is a quick edit with RT5.7dev. The main tool has been Wavelets, with a good help from Shadows/Highlights.
I don’t know if it would be to the liking of everybody, but from there the contrast, noise reduction, color and details could be changed to taste.
The main problem (the high contrast of the mountain) has been reduced to a workable level, I think.

I’ve downscaled it because the resulting image was huge at 100%. But you have the pp3 to check it locally, if you want. No sharpening applied.
