Live Stacking Issues

Running Windows 11

  1. Live stacking doesn’t process light frames that already exist in the working directory prior to starting the LS engine, but it will process any new frames that come in.
  2. The Remove gradient button is disabled and I don’t see a way to enable.
  3. I don’t see a way to configure the master dark & flat files in the UI.
  4. If I use the command line to start LS, I can specify the dark & flat files, and that appears to work, but using the livestack [filename] after start_ls, throws an error. I may be using this one wrong though?

Hello, points 1 and 2 are not yet implemented but planned.
Specifying the calibration masters is done in their regular place in Siril, in the Calibration tab.

And it seems that the commands don’t support RAW inputs yet, sorry.

Ok thanks. I didn’t think about that! Just a suggestion, but maybe update the documentation about where to set the master darks and flats when using the Livestack?

One more thing. When I hit play to start live stacking the bottom tool bar goes away. I assume this is by design, but when I stop the live stacking it doesn’t come back. I have to hit ctrl-t to bring it back up.

I think this one is already fixed for the next version.

Thanks for trying it and reporting!

It should handle because it is in a shared function.
We have seen a bug, if you start Siril with the temporary bat file (which is a fix for starnet), then you could have issues to livestack RAW images.

Just load your master files in the appropriate Calibration tab in Siril. As ususal.
