Location of settings file?

Hi,

While using Siril, my PC crashed (RAM issue).

Now, the command window shows briefly with the message “Could not load or create settings file, exiting.” and then closes.

Probably the crash corrupted some file?

What’s the location of the settings file on Win64? or any other way to handle this?

Hi,
Not in front of the computer right now, but I think it’s in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Siril

By default, the preference file is located at:

  • ~/.config/siril/config.ini (Linux)
  • %LOCALAPPADATA%sirilconfig.ini (Windows)
  • ~/Library/Application Support/org.free-astro.Siril/siril/config.ini (MacOS)
