manual lens correction?

Hi,

I’m just wondering what’s the situation with manual lenses and LensFun?

Are we allowed to add non AF lenses to the database? Obviously lenses could be adapted to various cameras and crop sensors…

I’m waiting on a delivery for PO-109-1A which is a Russian projection lens 50mm f/1.2. It looks like it was for curved 16 cine-film projectors so the lens has a fair amount of barrel distortion.
So it’ll be nice to correct automatically the distortion and TCA.

I suppose I’ll have to edit the exiv info to add the lens description before importing the raw to a processor.

There are many manual lenses in the lensfun database. It does not matter if the focus was set manually or by a camera.
