Mask Transfer Between Modules

I think it should be possible to transfer parametric masks from one module to another, to prevent having to draw it over and again. But I cannot figure it out. Can someone help me, please?

So which one is it?

It is the parametric. But I would like to transfer them all, if it is possible.

I’m somewhat sure you already can re-use drawn masks.
As for parametric masks, just re-using the same params will not be of much use, it will be rather counter-intuitive, because in each module it will produce a different mask, because the pixel values are obviously different.

That makes sense. I guess I am just talking about the paths. Is there a way?

And by paths you mean drawn masks?
I’d first read https://www.darktable.org/usermanual/en/drawn_mask.html and https://www.darktable.org/usermanual/en/mask_manager.html

Yes, drawn masks. Thank you, I will read.

When you choose drawn mask there is a drop down menu labeled “no mask used” to the left of the edit and polarity buttons. When you click on it all of the drawn masks used in that image will be listed. I think you’ll even get groups. If you’ve got a drawn mask combines with a gradient in one module you can use the same combination in another. Instead of being listed as path 1 and gradient 1 they will be listed as, say, exposure group.

Thank you all.

I thik I figured it out. It is so much easier than I thought it was.

What a beautiful App!
