I find applying just the right amount challenging. It is easy to overdo it. You need very, very little.
About the size of a pea or a red bean, but at the end of the day it’s not problematic if it spills ![]()
Ok guys, today I went to cyberport again, but this time with my reading glasses, and as far as the 32inch is concerned, it is definitely possible to see the pixel grid, so I think I wont buy one.
However, I have not made up my mind about the ram amount yet.
Did you consider the Asus PA279CRV? It has a good review at prad.de and is offered for about € 400 at cyberport.
After 7/8 years, I suggest replacing the CPU fan too.
Actually the ASUS ProArt PA27JCV seems to be interesting, too, though not exactly cheap.
Today I had another look at the screens at cyberport. It seems that its possible to see pixels even in 4k27inch displays. Absolutely no pixels visible is the 27inch5k apple screen.
I mean… you can see the pixels if you go pretty colose and have perfect eyesight or are short shighted or use reading glasses. Question is, is that a practical daily working situation? Nobody really edits photos with a mignifying glass. I mean sure, the appe 5k screen does look impressive.
I wish I had your problems
With presbyopia starting to hit, if I was close enough to the screen to actually see the pixels, then they would be blurred by my eye not being able to focus that close. (I can see pixels with reading glasses, but those I use for close work, eg when I need to extract a tick after hiking.)
Upside: I will be able to buy cheaper and cheaper screens as time progresses.
A tv producer colleague in Bloomberg stabbed his terminal monitor with a pair of scissors out of frustration with his boss one time. Had to pay for the screen and soon after went freelance.
Well I need reading glasses with 1,5 dipotries, I am not one of the youngest either any more, unfortunately.
Fortunately I dont have astigmatism (thanks to the genes from my dad), and my eyes are more or less the same, so I can use cheap reading glasses. I have like 6. I can really recommend using reading gasses to everybody who needs them from 1 dioptries on. I think even if you have astigmatism and your eyes are not exactly identical, a cheap reading glass is better than nothing.
Well I guess in 2-3 years I will need 1 dioptries for working at a big desktop screen.
