Hello I apologise if this is a simple question but I cannot seem to find a answer.
Assuming I touch no metadata inside RT am I correct in thinking the only metadata written into a exported file is the camera supplied exif + the output profile?
I ask because I see no options to control metadata writing unless I am missing something which could very well be.
The main reason I ask is I am investigating software to manage my photographs. I am looking into some asset managers like iMatch and xnviewmp and I want to ensure metadata is only changing in one location for various tifs and jpegs. Otherwise things can get messy. As far as Raw is concerned I don’t care because the softwares do xmp sidecars and I do not need that particular data inside RT just the camera info which is already present.
All I want is rt to place in the camera data and profile on export so the rest can be handled by the asset software.
